Maurizio Sarri "wants to bring back Gonzalo Higuain with him" when he joins Juventus from Chelsea

GONZALO HIGUAIN would have a second chance at Juventus if Maurizio Sarri succeeded Mbadimiliano Allegri in Turin.

Chelsea boss is expected to return to Italy this summer and take over the Old Lady with the Blues, supposed to have given him the blessing to leave.

But the change is blocked, Chelsea demanding that his release clause of £ 5.3 million be respected by Serie A.

If Sarri were to take the reins of Juve, he would probably seek to sell Mario Mandzukic to make room for Higuain.

According to Goal, Juventus is ready to listen to offers from the Croatian international, while the player has only signed a new two – year contract in April.

Sarri has a close relationship with Higuain, leading him to Napoli in the 2015/16 season, before taking him to Stamford Bridge on loan in January.

The Argentine striker, 31, was flattered to disappoint England, scoring just five goals in 18 games.

But Sarri will give him another chance to prove himself, although Higuain was deemed surplus after Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival last year.

According to goals, the Bianconeri would seek to recruit a younger striker to complete Ronaldo and Higuain, with Federico Chiesa of Fiorentina.

Ronaldo would have given Juve the green light to bring Sarri to Turin.

This despite the fact that Sarri has apparently fired a warning to the winner of the Golden Ball five times, according to which no player is bigger than the team.
