Callum Hudson-Odoi is about to sign a new long-term deal in Chelsea that would be £ 100,000 a week.

Chelsea managed to convince Hudson-Odoi to sign a new contract after a long confrontation with the teenager.

Bayern Munich's interest in Hudson-Odoi in January was marked by the advanced attempt to force the player to leave the club, even by filing a transfer request.

Hudson-Odoi has repeatedly rejected the possibility of signing a new agreement with Chelsea and seemed to want to do the same for Bayern this summer.

But the Independents say Hudson-Odoi was convinced to stay at Stamford Bridge after informal talks between the player and the club.

Hudson-Odoi played more regularly towards the end of the season, before his injury kept him away from the last few weeks.

Chelsea are about to lose Eden Hazard this summer to Real Madrid and the Blues have always been determined to retain Hudson-Odoi whether or not he signs a new deal.

The current Hudson-Odoi deal will expire next year and he believes the imminent release of Hazard will give him even more opportunities as a first team.

No documents have been signed, but Chelsea is now confident that the agreement will be reached without further problem.

The new contract will see Hudson-Odoi's weekly salary rise to £ 100,000 and the Englishman should be given Hazard's no. 10 jersey.

Hudson-Odoi will miss the start of the new season due to an injury to Achilles.

Bayern Munich will continue to monitor Hudson-Odoi, but is now focusing on attracting Leroy Sane from Manchester City.
