Former footballer Lee Sharpe married Lucie Gardner in Italy some 14 years after appearing in the first Love Island series.
Aged 47, he played 193 times for Manchester United, winning the Premier League and FA Cup during his career. He has now reached an ultimate goal in life by marrying his son's mother.
Lee tied the knot with Lucie at an intimate ceremony on the Amalfi Coast, Italy, eight years after she started going out with her.
The two men met in 2011 and Lee offered Lucie a chance to participate in the Cheltenham Festival at Women's Day in 2017.
On their big day, Lee had a look at his business wearing a gray three-piece suit and a black bow tie.
Lucie looked full of smiles and wore an amazing white wedding dress to her bare back. He had a plunging neckline and a diamond waist and the pair was the look of love.
The white roses were at the rendezvous. Lucie had them in a bouquet, while Lee wore one in the buttonhole.
The couple has a two-year-old son, Leo, and the wedding day, 14 years after Lee was looking for a partner for the very first Love Island, in 2005.
He retired from football two years ago, after a career in which he moved from Torquay United to Manchester United, before joining Leeds United and Sampdoria in Italy.

Lee then joined the reality TV circuit including Dancing on Ice, Celebrity Wrestling and Celebrity Love Island.
In 2005, it was the first series of Love Island with Patrick Kielty and Kelly Brook presenting the sunny villa while many celebrities sought to find love.
The series was won by Jayne Middlemiss and Fran Cosgrave. Lee returned home after failing to find a partner.
