Miss Spain 2018 Angela Ponce
New York, NY- The Latin American AIDS Commission will pay tribute to Miss Spain 2018, Angela Ponce, first candidate for the openly transgender candidacy of Miss Universe, with the Ilka 2019 Prize at its annual edition. Cielo Gala on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Cipriani Wall Street.

The Ilka Prize commemorates the life of actress and activist Ilka Tanya Payan, who died as a result of AIDS, in honor of open-minded and supportive celebrities who give their voice and time to the causes of HIV and AIDS.

Ms. Ponce's mission is to be a model for young people and to show them that it is possible to live an incredible life as an openly transgendered person.
