Cardi B won Best Rap Album for his debut, Invasion of Privacy

The Parklife music festival in Manchester has announced that Cardi B will not top the bill on Saturday on his main stage.

This comes shortly after the Grammy – winning rapper has postponed a series of US shows to recover from a cosmetic surgery.

In writing on Twitter, Parklife organizers said: "As some of you have seen, Cardi B was forced to cancel some performances in May.

"The Parklife team has just been informed that Cardi must now retire from Parklife this weekend."

They apologized to festival-goers for late notification of the cancellation, adding, "There will be changes in programming, splits and previously announced times, we are currently working on that."

Cardi B had no news.

The star, whose successes include I Like It and Bodak Yellow, was produced during Hot 97's annual Summer Jam in New Jersey last weekend.

"You know, I hate canceling series because I like money," said the 26-year-old in a Instagram video released in May.

"But like, health is wealth, so I have to do what I have to do," she said. "My bads must heal, and that's what it is."

"My doctor told me:" Yo, you can not do all these shows because you're not completely cured, "she said. "I have to get better."
