The University of Cape Coast has put in place an anti-plagiarism policy for university graduate students.
The policy is to protect the sanctity and originality of university research and to deepen knowledge.
The quest of the university to become the fief of higher education in Ghana led the higher education school to commission a committee to draft the policy.
At the graduation ceremony organized by the University, Professor Joseph Ghartey-Ampiah, Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, announced to the congregation that this policy had been accepted and approved by the Academic Council of the University in 2019/2020 School Year.

"I am pleased to inform you that the policy has been accepted and approved by the Academic Council of the University for its implementation during the academic year 2019/2020", he announced.
Professor Ghartey-Ampiah said the university had also bought the software "turn it in" to reduce the level of plagiarism and increase the power and originality of the results of the project. research.
"Currently, staff and graduate students are trained in the use of the software", he proved.
