Everyone should know this WhatsApp feature

[ad_1]

As part of the fight against the rapid spread of fake news, early 2019, WhatsApp has limited the transmission of messages worldwide to a maximum of five recipients. Before this limit was only in India. But the messaging service has a feature that easily bypbades this cap. Many users are not familiar with the feature.

More specifically, this is the broadcast function that we presented in detail two years ago (see slide show below). With this function, you can send a message to up to 256 contacts without having to create a group. If you want to forward a message to more than one person, just copy it once and send it to the complete mailing list.

For iOS and Android

The streaming feature is available for iOS and Android. In iOS, it hides in the discussion tab (top left) and calls "Broadcast Listen". Android users can be found in the overview menu (row of dots at the top right) under the "New Broadcast" item. Here you can create a list containing up to 256 contacts. These are simply added via the "plus" symbol. Once the list is created, you just have to insert the copied message (which you really want to transfer) and click on "Send". It is already sent to all contacts in the mailing list.

Advantage on groups

Although the messages of a group can quickly decrease, this is not the case of the broadcasts. Because here, the contact receives the message as in a single discussion. Thus, the sender can make sure that it is also read. In addition, many WhatsApp users are now annoyed when they have (yet) added to a new group. The messaging service has also recognized this and recently added a new feature to deny it.
