Veteran's Move: D-Day Tribute to the Top of the Singles Chart from Amazon

[ad_1]

Jim Radford was only 15 years old when he left school to serve in the British Navy as a galley slainer. On his first sea voyage, he served in the Allied invasion of France on D-Day, June 6, 1944. It took Radford years to be able to describe what we had seen, but he decided to use his love of folk music to share his story. His single is propelled to the top of the charts to help the Normandy Memorial Trust raise money for a memorial on the beaches where the invasion took place.
