A middle-aged man was found dead at the Winneba Education College in what authorities call a suicide.
Confirming the incident at Citi News, the university's public relations officer Ernest Azutiga explained that the deceased was not a student at the university.
"I can confirm that one person has committed suicide on campus. I can also confirm that, according to police investigations, the person is not a UEW student. Someone went to his farm, but on his return, he found a suspended body, then he informed the campus security that came and also informed the municipal police. " Azutiga said
Azutiga said campus security was reviewing the situation and "would propose appropriate measures to minimize these incidents."
