Buzz Bingo in a £ 500,000 commitment from the Alzheimer Society

Buzz Bingo is to give half a million pounds to the Alzheimer Society and Alzheimer Scotlandas part of its 'Thank You' charity event.

The British Bingo Operator will host its event on Saturday, June 15 at Buzz Bingo Tooting in South London and will feature a comedian and Jo Brand, Ambbadador of the Alzheimer Society, who is about to receive the check from Peter Brigden, Director of Buzz Bingo Retail Sales.

Open to all members, guests will have a chance to win one of the ten £ 1,000 prizes offered throughout the evening, backed by even bigger prizes at night.

Brigden said of the $ 500,000 donation: "We are delighted to have reached this goal of more than £ 500,000 in donations for the Alzheimer Society and Alzheimer Scotland, one of the leading UK dementia support organizations. and research.

As a result of this donation, Buzz is helping to fund community support for people with dementia across the UK.

In England, Northern Ireland and Wales, twelve Alzheimer Society side by side services have been funded, providing voluntary support to people with dementia to continue to play an active role in their community.

In Scotland, this money has been used to fund dementia resource centers, offering counseling, information, emotional support and social activities.

Jeremy Hughes, Executive Director of the Alzheimer Society, added, "We would like to say a big thank you for this important donation from Buzz Bingo. In the UK, 850,000 people have dementia and many feel isolated and alone.
