Rangers line up Daniel Opare to "replace" James Tavernier when he left Ibrox

The rangers are lining up for Royal Antwerp defender Daniel Opare to replace James Tavernier, if he leaves Ibrox this summer.

The Gers skipper, Tavernier, has been badociated with a transfer to the English Premier League, including Aston Villa and Brighton.

And according to the Scottish Sun, the Rangers are preparing a £ 500,000 offer for Opare if Tavernier leaves the club.

Opare, 28, has 12 months to make on his contract with the Belgian side.
