After bad cancer, bad cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in American women In the United States, mammography screening is still the gold standard for early detection in bad cancer screening. However, the change in guidelines and competing recommendations on when to start screening has been confusing for many women. Recently, the American Society of Breast Surgeons has launched a call for a bad cancer risk badessment for all women over 25 years of age. In addition, the American Society of Breast Surgeons has recommended returning to the traditional screening age of 40 women annually screening individuals at high risk of contracting the disease.

As part of the Mayo Clinic's radio program, Dr. Amy Degnim, a bad cancer surgeon at the Mayo Clinic, discusses screening guidelines and advances in bad cancer surgery.
