Man Utd confirmed the list as two top players leave Old Trafford

Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera had their summer outing confirmed by Manchester United.

The Old Trafford giants are preparing for a major redesign of their team before next season and the popular duos Valencia and Herrera are among the 15 players to be released after the end of their contract.

United chose not to offer a new contract in Valencia and the United captain, who joined the club 10 years ago, was congratulated by the move to MLS.

Midfielder Herrera had already announced his exit last month after failing to agree an extension at Old Trafford and should sign for the French giant Paris Saint-Germain.

James Wilson is also part of the starts after United decided not to trigger a one – year extension of the current contract of the attacker.

The striker has been sensationalized to the faithful of Old Trafford five years ago, when the 18-year-old scored two goals in his debut in a win. 3-1 on Hull City.

But he has not managed to regain his momentum since, after a combination of injuries and loan failures, and will now seek new pastures after leaving the club that he joined as a that young boy.

Regan Poole, who has only played three minutes of the first football team under Louis van Gaal, is another Academy player used to parting with the Red Devils.

Non-contract players Juan Mata, Alex Fojticek, Paul Woolston and Luca Ercolan have all been offered new terms, while United has chosen to extend Aidan Barlow's contract.

These starts are the same day that United confirmed the imminent arrival of Swansea's highly regarded forward Daniel James.

United confirmed that an agreement had been reached "in principle" with Swansea and the 21 – year – old Welsh international.

It is understood that United will pay Swansea 18 million pounds sterling, including the add-on fee, for the Wales International, which will be officially completed on Tuesday.

"Manchester United is pleased to announce that it has accepted, in principle, the terms of the Swansea and Daniel James agreement for its transfer to the club," said a statement on the official website of the Premier League.

"Daniel has successfully pbaded a medical examination at the Aon Training Complex and further details will be provided as soon as the international transfer window opens next week."
