The National Petroleum Corporation of Ghana (GNPC) Foundation has organized a sensitization workshop on fires and safety for women market in the Takoradi market circle in the western region, today June 7, 2019 .
Dr. Dominic Eduah, CEO of the GNPC Foundation, presented a brief ceremony of new fire extinguishers to women in the Takoradi market circle as a fire control measure.
He emphasized the need for women in the market to become aware of the security and prevention measures needed to make firefighting in different markets a thing of the past.
This gesture was made in collaboration with the Ghana Fire Department, the PDS, the Energy Commission and NADMO.
The women congratulated Dr. Eduah and the GNPC Foundation for their kind gesture and badured them that all designated points of the market would be equipped with fire extinguishers.
