Because of its development, the Zongo Development Fund, which is the implementation arm of Zongo's ministry, would execute projects that it could not achieve due to lack of funds.

The projects to be undertaken, said the president, include the provision of water supply systems, the rehabilitation of school buildings and the construction of new ones, the provision of desks for Islamic schools and the rehabilitation of tertiary drains, between other.

According to the president, these solutions would go a long way toward solving the problems faced by Zongo residents across the country.

"Based on the many requests received from all Zongo communities, Zongo Development Fund officials have already translated the opening mandate into executable projects and the work on these projects is expected to start very soon," he said. he declared.

The president told his guests that he had created the Ministry of Inner Cities and Development of Zongo so that Zongos and poor neighborhoods are key aspects of the national development agenda.
