"Sad!" was originally released on March 1, 2018, with the song "Changes". Produced by X's frequent collaborator, John Cunningham, the song is an optimistic but dark cut that finds XXX in search of meaning.
"Who am I? Someone who is afraid of letting go, uh / You decide, if you ever let me know (yes) / Suicide, if you ever try to let go / I'm sad and depressed" he rhymes. "I'm lost so I'm found but / it's a love to be tortured / I love when you're around / But I hate bading when you leave."
