Sainsbury's billed 17 pence for Braeburn apples in plastic packs of six, while the lost apples had 28 pence. Tesco Braeburn apples measured 44 pence each but worked 32 pints each in a five-pound plastic package. Waitrose Essential tomatoes weighed 19p each, but purchased in a plastic package of six, they cost 12 pence each.
