E3 2019It is the hour of the biggest game show of the year. We have articles, videos, podcasts and maybe even a GIF or two.

I have to look at a slightly extended version of the Jedi: Fallen Order demo when participating in EA Play in Los Angeles today. This demo started shortly before the live broadcast of EA and saw the main character Cal infiltrate an Imperial base on Kashyyyk by making it disappear. For starters, he climbed a vine covered with vines, took control and mowed legions of storm troops. This section featured a great cinematic view inside the badpit, highlighting small details such as Cal's droid hitting the dashboard. Shortly after, he reconnected with his allies and was able to explore a central area including the interior of a ship. He could also talk to other characters and even choose between dialogue options. These moments made the game a little less linear. Still: It seems rather linear linear. Other observations: For a padawan on the side of the light, Cal sure is an impalable lover in combat. Also, Cal's hair? It's great! Wookiee hair? Looks like a PS2 texture of rotten tree bark. Give the Wookies some of these beautiful hair, Respawn! Hair is basically their whole thing!
