Samuel Umtiti insists that he will remain in Barcelona this summer, despite the interest of Arsenal.
Unai Emery has identified the central defender as his first defensive target and Barcelona is ready to unload.
But Umtiti rejected growing speculation about transfers and confirmed his intention to stay at Nou camp.
He said RTL France: "I have a contract, I feel happy in Barcelona. The season has been complicated, but I will still be in Barcelona next season. '
This statement will be a blow to Emery, who is desperate to strengthen his workforce this summer.
Arsenal suffered a humiliating end to their campaign with a 4-1 defeat to Chelsea in the Europa League final, missing Champions League football next season because of the defeat.
Emery has only £ 45 million to spend and may have to sell some of his first-team stars to raise extra funds.

Even though Barcelona is open at the start of Umtiti this summer, the 25-year-old is under contract at the club until 2023.
