Sending to the media, Mr. Kojo Frempong, Ghanaian leader of the US medical team, announced that he had started his volunteer work 10 years ago with a selection of medical personnel from Ghanaian hospitals.

Children beneficiaries of public and private schools of Agona Nyakrom then received free toothbrushes, exercise books, pencils and occasional clothing.

He added that similar exercises had been carried out in the Ashanti, Bono, Ahafo, East and Greater Accra regions.

Ms. Justina Marigold Assan, Agona West's Chief Executive Officer (MCE), thanked the medical team for the gesture, adding that the treated people were relieved of their burden to contribute to the improvement of the productivity.

The ERM expressed hope that the medical team will travel again so that more people in the area can benefit from the exercise.
