Several residents of Takoradi and surrounding areas pledged Saturday in a mbad protest to press for their missing three girls to be reunited, JoyNews said. Ina-Thalia Quansah reported.
The three girls, Ruth Quayson, Priscilla Mantsebea Koranchie and Priscilla Blessing Bentum disappeared six months, five months and one year ago respectively.
John Entsie, head of the Western Youth for Justice, who read the petition on behalf of the protesters, said the IADC leader should be fired no later than 21 days after Saturday's demonstration. Otherwise they will besiege the president's office at Flagstaff House.
According to them, the COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah failed to effectively deal with the case of their missing children.
The results were painful for the families of these girls.
The injured residents and the families of the three kidnapped girls marched on Takoradi's main street holding placards bearing various inscriptions, including "Families are in pain", "CID let the kidnapper tell you where the girls are."
