MP Suhum Donates Mathematical Sets to BECE Candidates

FREDRICK Opare-Ansah, a member of the Suhum constituency in the Eastern region, presented about 2,000 math ensembles to BECE candidates in colleges and high schools in the constituency.

The free distribution of mathematical sets cost the MP several thousand Ghana Cedis.

The donation was made on his behalf by constituency officials by the district's communications officer, Odei Augustine.

He said that mathematical sets were very important, not only in the study of mathematics, but in other disciplines.

Deputy Suhum also paid 20,000 Ghanaian cedis (20,000 Gh) to the Education Branch of the Suhum Municipality to sponsor the fictitious examinations of about 1,900 BECE candidates in the constituency. .

The purpose of the exercise was to prepare candidates for the next Basic Education Certificate (BECE) test.

Opare Ansah has also absorbed all exam-related costs, including supervisory pay, examination equipment transportation costs and marking allowances.
