Toy Story 4 should finally arrive in cinemas later this month and continue the story of some of our favorite Pixar characters. Woody and the gang now take advantage of the new owner, Bonnie, whom they visited at the end of Toy Story 3.

In this new adventure, Woody and old love Bo Beep find their love for the rescue of Bonnie's favorite new toy, Forky.

With three beloved and critically acclaimed entries from the Toy Story series already under Pixar's belt, fans are eagerly awaiting the new opus to see if it's up to the previous movies.

So what do the critics say in their first reactions?

I think it's safe to say that the latest Toy Story movie enjoys universal recognition.

Rob Keyes of Screenrant tweeted: "Toy Story 4 is very satisfying and presents some of the funniest and most emotional moments of the franchise.It is inspired by new characters and will surprise you at the end.And yes, there are great moments during the credits. (none at the end though) "

Erik Davis from Fandango tweeted: # ToyStory4 is another fantastic entry in the series and the only slice that looks most like an adventure movie. With hard farewells, second chances and finding your way back home, it's jam-packed, but I've also been crying out louder here than for the others.

James Viscardi of CBS Interactive wrote on Twitter: "#ToyStory4 goes to infinity and beyond. It shoots at the heart from the start and does not stop. The new characters fit in perfectly and all your old favorites have time to shine. "
