I write in response to a political inspired publication bearing the legend ROT AT GRA … THE COMMISSIONER GENERAL READY TO PROVE THE OSU BRANCH, captured in the newspaper New Crusading Guide of May 27, 2019 in which a myriad lies without education were mentioned. a certain unnamed senior auditor of the OSU branch of GRA, who, according to the false publication, is the subject of an imminent investigation for allegedly committing various acts of venality and irregularity.

Let me say from the outset that the above-mentioned publication is a smear campaign funded and designed by a desperate parliamentary aspirant to denigrate a handsome gentleman who intends to triumph in the next parliamentary primaries of the NDC to Navrongo Central. Constituency, in case he decides to contest. This gentleman is none other than Mr Sampson Tangombu Chiragia, who is considered by many to be the favorite at the parliamentary primary and who happens to be a main listener of the OSU branch of the GRA.

This history of corruption concocted in the OSU branch of GRA is therefore a vain attempt not only to tarnish its irreproachable reputation, but also to defeat any political ambitions it would nourish as a result of the endless appeals launched by the Navrongo people riding in the near future.

Naturally, the publication must therefore be treated with the greatest contempt it deserves, because, as I said earlier, it is the manual work of a person known to Navrongo who sees in the growing popularity of M Sampson in the constituency a deadly threat to his own political ambitions. .

The brain of this publication sees in the prospect of the candidacy of Mr. Sampson Tangombu Chiragia an imminent danger that would risk jeopardizing his own chances.

To this end, he uses the tactics diverted from lies and badbadination of character to destroy this deadly threat to his political ambition.

It is therefore extremely reprehensible for a reputable newspaper, stature and genealogy of the New Crusading Guide, to be used as a means to advance the two-sided machinations of an unscrupulous and unscrupulous local politician who would stop at nothing. its unhappy parliamentary ambitions.

The publication is essentially a ploy designed to set the tone for a well-coordinated, elaborate and localized campaign of lies hatched in a futile attempt to thwart, in their view, the desire of Navrongo natives to rally behind Mr. Sampson Tangombu Chiragia. as their parliamentary candidate in the not too distant future.

For fear of prosecution for the profusion of lies contained in said publication, the name of the target of their extravagant corruption allegations is deliberately not mentioned.

However, this belies the fact that in Navrongo, the brain of this misleading publication has created a clique of criminals who circulate this fake apocryphal corruption and tries to deceive people into believing that Mr. Sampson Tangombu Chiragia will be coming soon. to be the subject of a corruption investigation. In fact, wherever they are, they brandish the May 27 edition of the New Crusading Newspaper, where they tell the story of false corruption, in order to damage M's hard-won reputation. Sampson.

At this point, despite the fact that this whole publication is a sham, let me directly address the lame and covert allegations of corruption against the anonymous senior auditor of the Ghana Revenue Authority's OSU branch.

In this context, it is sinister for a politician to embark on an imminent investigation as evidence of the corruption his opponent perceives in order to tarnish his reputation.

Even more alarming is the fact that the Commissioner-General has not revealed the intention to conduct such an unnecessary investigation, but that these allegations have been deliberately concealed in the New Crusading Guide by a rapacious Navrongo politician. in order to overshadow the political fate of a man. perceived as a rival who works at GRA – as is the case here – and who unreasonably dragged the reputation of an entire institution in the mud.

It is because of political intrigues of this despicable nature that many well-meaning Ghanaians, equipped with the know-how and the keen sense of leadership needed to bring this country out of the slump of poverty, have decided to stay away politics.

In their attempt to substantiate their unfounded allegations of corruption against the unnamed senior auditor of GRA's Osu branch, it is also stated in the publication

"For example, one of the cases ready to be examined could be the case in which a senior auditor of the OSU GRA branch (undisclosed name) would have often granted tax exemptions to companies without the Agreement of his superiors. "

The statement above does not only go against the truth and establishes revenue collection procedures, but it is outright insane. The Shakespearean verse brings me back to my point "He is full of noise and fury, he means nothing."
