MONTREAL, June 9, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – On Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Laval Nature Center, the Montreal Canadiens Center and JDRF National Spokesperson Max Domi joined thousands of Montrealers at the 2019 Sun Life Walk in Montreal Cure Diabetes for JDRF to raise funds to accelerate the pace of Type 1 Diabetes Research (T1D).
In touch with children and their families affected by Type 1 diabetes, Domi shared his life experience with T1D while pursuing a career as a professional hockey player in hopes of empowering youth in the community. realize their dreams despite the circumstances.
JDRF's Sun Life Healing Walk for Diabetes is taking place in more than 60 communities across Canada, with a goal of raising $ 5 million in 2019.
