Chelsea News: Thibaut Courtois sends advice to Eden Hazard after transfer from Real Madrid

Thibaut Courtois is confident that Eden Hazard will be a great success at Real Madrid, but the goalkeeper urged his team-mate to start perfecting his Spanish to give himself the best possible chances of integrating.

Madrid and Chelsea agreed on an amount of € 100m (£ 88.5m), or € 146.1m (£ 130m) with additions, for Hazard and the 28-year-old striker signed a contract five years with the giants of La Liga.

Hazard became Zinedine Zidane's third summer rookie after signing a contract with Porto defender Eder Militao and Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic.

He is also the second Belgian in as many seasons to leave Chelsea for Madrid after replacing Courtois last summer.

Asked about Hazard's decision after Belgium's 3-0 win over Kazakhstan, Courtois replied: "If he speaks a little Spanish, it will be even better.

"It's great that we are together. He is my friend, I get along very well with him and his family.

"For Madrid, it's going to be fantastic, I think [Hazard] It will make the difference and I hope we can win many titles next season. "

Pat Nevin, a former Chelsea winger, warned Hazard that "the grbad was not always greener" following his move to Bernabeu.

"Hazard has given this club seven years and it has been breathtaking in those seven years," Nevin said. BBC Sport.

"His behavior has been impeccable, he is the most skillful player I have ever played for the Chelsea Football Club.
