Man Utd urged to complete transfer for Real Madrid striker Gareth Bale

Manchester United have been told to sign Gareth Bale this summer because the Welsh international "can change any team".

That's what his former boss Harry Redknapp says, who wants to see the former Tottenham star leave the Bernabeu and return to the Premier League.

Bale was a huge success in Spain when he left Spurs to carry out his dream move to Real Madrid, but he has fallen in the list of priorities in recent seasons.

Zinedine Zidane has just completed the transfers of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic, which means that Bale's football chances for the first team will be even more alarming in the next campaign.

In addition, whites must balance their accounts and consider Bale as someone they can claim money for.

Redknapp thinks it's time for Bale to leave Real Madrid and return to the Premier League with Man United, where he will play regular first-team football.

Redknapp said on talkSPORT: "I think it would be a great decision for him to put his career back on track, he is a fantastic player and he can change any team he is good at.

It would be an excellent signature for them. OK if they have one or two children arriving too, that's great too. But what happened with the six boys who came – this happens once in God knows how many years.

"I had it with West Ham when six children arrived, with Rio [Ferdinand] and Frank [Lampard] and this group is gone. They had spent years and years without producing a player until this small group appeared.

"It's very difficult to find five or six other promising players who will become great players, so you need that mix of experience and youth, but someone like Gareth would make an excellent signing."
