We extracted the nutritional information from the Beyond Burger and Impossible Burger cookies to see how the two popular herbal burger brands compared. We have also included some burger burger options: the Burger King slab and the original Bubba Burger slab.

Here's how burgers really compare:

The Bubba Burger is obvious among the burgers. (We have bolded the highest number in each nutritional category.) It contains almost twice as much fat and calories as the other cakes we have badyzed.

However, with respect to sodium, herbal burgers contain much more salt than their meat counterparts. Beyond Burger contains 380 mg of sodium, or 16% of the recommended total daily limit.

The comparison between Beyond Burger and Impossible Burger reveals extremely similar nutritional information. Impossible Burger is slightly fattier, but in most cases, both hamburgers are extremely similar, at least on paper.

Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods continue to refine their recipes. Earlier this year, Impossible Foods launched the Impossible Burger 2.0, designed to be significantly healthier (and tastier) than the original, with less fat and sodium.
