Former South African President Nelson Mandela said: "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world". Many people are born with all the disadvantages they face each time, but education has brought them to the fore. These personalities have transformed the world in different ways. The world has not been exhausted in mentioning them at every opportunity. The Methodist High School for Girls (MEGHS) performed a feat that required compliments, which will motivate many science students, especially girls, to sit down. The feat accomplished by these girls is not a small accomplishment. They must be celebrated in the future.

It should be noted that at the twentieth edition of the ROBOFEST World Contest, the Methodist High School for Girls came first. Their flying performances went out to meet famous students from England, the United States of America, China, Nigeria and South Korea, among others. The members of the ACRO BOT Team of the Methodist Girls' High School who are winners of the ultimate gaming contest not only communicate the girl's abilities, but confirm the long-held view that men can do better than women. These girls not only raised the flag of the nation, but also created a group among the community of nations pursuing studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

If an initial victory can not be followed by one second, the first triumph can be considered pure luck. However, the Methodist Girls 'High School proved that their performance at the Students' Conference for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE), held in Odessa, Ukraine two years ago, was not a coincidence. The results of these students confirm the observation of world-renowned scientist, Albert Einstein: "Education is not about learning facts, but about causing the mind to think"

In addition, the performance of these students proved to be a true Zen proverb: "Teachers open the door, but you have to go in on your own." Hard work pays and extra effort to learn will build the whole. knowledge.

The nation should celebrate these girls and offer them scholarships, which will encourage others to emulate their achievements. They must be presented as models that they have actually adopted. This will encourage them to larger works. It is important that their parents, teachers and the country protect them and encourage them to stay focused on their goals.

A Chinese proverb says: "Learning is a treasure that will follow everywhere its owner." Girls, this singular achievement will follow you forever. You are brilliant stars, mentors and pioneers. Keep flying high and let the sky be your limit.

In celebrating these girls, Dr. Ashitey Trebi-Ollennu, founder of the Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation, can not be overlooked. We congratulate you for sharing your knowledge with these girls, which has resulted in outstanding performance.

It is the government's responsibility to increase the budget allocated to science and research to strengthen science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in Ghana.
