I'm a celebrity Sam Quek defends the comment 'sexist' about World Cup experts

I'm a celebrity Star Sam Quek defended herself by calling a "beautiful" presentation panel of the All-Women's World Cup.

The 30-year-old Olympic gold medalist congratulated Gabby Logan and experts Alex Scott, Hope Solo and Gemma Fay.

Their appearance after England's defeat against Scotland prompted Sam to tweet: "Have there ever been a more beautiful and more competent presentation and punditry team?"

Trolls accused her humiliating women's football and claimed that a man would have said the same thing would have been blamed on her.

But Sam, backed by an army of fans, retorted angrily: "I can not think of a single negative effect it would have on the four ladies to say that they are not only competent, they are also pretty.

"My tweet talked about their beauty and their skill.

"I still do not understand why I should not have said they were beautiful when the two are mutually exclusive?

"Just as if a flower is yellow and smells good, its color has no connection with its smell."

Sam then posted a picture of a television group composed exclusively of men from the League of Nations of England semi-final against the Netherlands, including Jamie Redknapp and Jamie Carragher.

She wrote, "What a great team of presenters and advertising specialists!
