The owner of the Kekeli International School, a private basic school in Aflao, and the director of police are under the influence of the police after their arrest for illegally registering 62 Togolese and Nigerian students for that purpose. 39, they write the BECE 2019 Monday in Aflao.

The crime officer refused to give more details.
Mr. Agbenorwu told the GNA that he had information that Mawuli had registered the students as Ghanaians, even though they were not attending his school and therefore had no cumulative record of their academic work.
He stated that he interviewed students who confirmed the problem and informed the police.
On the fate reserved for the 62 students, the WFD stated that they would be allowed to continue and complete the exam on Friday.
Mr. Agbenorwu however stated that after investigations, his team would send a report to the West African Review Board (WAEC), the organizer of the 39, an examination intended to annul the results of these illegal candidates.
He referred to the case as a direct sabotage of the Free SHS government program, designed to give Ghanaian students free access to upper secondary education.
The GNA estimated that the 62 Togolese and Nigerians in question were part of a total of 138 students enrolled at Kekeli School for writing BECE. The students were actually students from Faith Mission School, an elementary school in Lome, Togo.
Meanwhile, more than 1,300 candidates wrote BECE 2019 in Ketu South Municipality.
