North Oklahu's MP for the electoral district, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, urged the public to be wary of social media fraudsters who use his name to fool people to whom they promise jobs in exchange for money.

According to him, he continues to receive reports of victims of fraudsters pretending to be on Facebook.

Ablakwa said in a Facebook post that he did not offer "formal" jobs and never required money to help anyone, no matter what the circumstances.
