Arsenal will have to pay £ 25 million for Yannick Carrasco after his club, Dalian Yifang, has set his price for the Belgian international, according to the Evening Standard.

The 25-year-old has been in Arsenal's radar since January and almost joined the company on loan before Unai Emery turned to Denis Suarez from Barcelona.

Suarez's inability to make a good impression in North London meant the club re-examined a potential project for Carrasco and asked to be loaned with an option to buy.

Dalian Yifang is reluctant to lend Carrasco and prefers to unload it permanently in order to reinvest the necessary funds in search of a replacement.

Carrasco would earn about £ 170,000 a week in China, but would be willing to lower his wage demands to ensure his return to Europe.

Last week, Carrasco confirmed his intention to leave China stating, "From a family perspective, I would rather play in Europe and stay closer to my family.

"The adjustment for my family has also been difficult there. [China]. '

Emery's desire to improve its workforce this summer has been made more difficult by the club's limited transfer budget of between 40 and 45 million pounds.

As a result, Arsenal is exploring payment solutions for Carrasco, which could include milestone payments over a period of time or the inclusion of various performance-related additions to the transaction.

Carrasco has already played for Monaco and Atletico Madrid before his transfer to Asia and scored in the 2016 UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Emery wants to add a scorer to his ranks. Henrikh Mkhitaryan was Arsenal's next goal scorer behind Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette last season with just six goals in the Premier League.
