Manchester United would turn to Max Aarons of Norwich if he failed in his attempt to recruit the right back of the Crystal Palace Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.
Palace has rejected United's initial offer of £ 40 million to Wan-Bissaka, 21, but the Red Devils are already preparing their next bid, which is expected to be around £ 50m.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to sign Wan-Bissaka and encourages United to get closer to the valuation of Palace for the international English under-21.

The report states that Tottenham and RB Leipzig are also keen on Aarons after the youngster's first outstanding campaign in which he was at the heart of a Norwich team that dominated the championship to qualify for the Premier League.
Aarons, who has played 41 league games during the campaign, has been named in the PFA Championship 's year – round team and has also won the young player' s title of the EFL season.
It is understood that the palace would also consider a move to Aarons if Wan-Bissaka sealed a pbadage at Old Trafford.
Thomas Meunier, from Paris Saint-Germain, is also on United's radar to replace Antonio Valencia, but Solskjaer is categorical: Wan-Bissaka is the player he wants on the right side of his defense.
The reports suggest that Solskjaer has not yet been convinced by Diogo Dalot, hence United's interest in Wan-Bissaka and Aarons.

Wan-Bissaka, who recently signed a new long-term agreement keeping him at the Palace until 2022, is not ready to break out of the club this summer.
Asked about his future at the end of the Palace season, Wan-Bissaka explained, "I'm with Crystal Palace for the moment.
"That's where my contract is and that's where I'll be next season.
"I have three years left on my contract. He says I'm going to be there, so that's all I can focus on now. "
