The US Women's National Team took a ferocious start to the Women's World Cup in France, appearing to score at will in its opening match against Thailand.
While many goals were already impressive, the highlight of the first half came from Tobin Heath, who sent a defender down on the ground with a devastating nutmeg while attacking Thailand's goal.
Nutmeg is somehow an emblematic gesture of Heath, American football nicknamed it "queen of nutmeg" for its antics in practice.
On Twitter, fans congratulated Heath for his quick action.
When the second half started, the Americans began to take advantage, scoring four goals in six minutes to extend their lead to 7-0. They finally won the match, 13-0, Alex Morgan scoring five goals.
Heath was replaced soon after, but would leave the match with the highlight of the night.
With his premature exit, Heath should be well rested to be able to harvest even more nutmeg in the team's next match against Chile on Sunday.
