Asamoah Gyan, the Black Stars striker
Asamoah Gyan is the biggest Ghanaian footballer of all time, insisting that former Black Stars defender Sam Johnson.
The former national team player said in an interaction with Accra-based Happy FM that the captain of Ghana's senior national team "did what no Ghanaian player had done before."
"Gyan is the biggest Ghanaian player of all time. He did more than anyone who played for the Black Stars. When it comes to scoring goals, he's better than everyone else. He is the only player in Africa to have more goals in the World Cup, "said Sam Johnson.

"The difficult times for Ghana in a particular match, Gyan will come out of nowhere and make things possible," he said.
Sam Johnson is convinced that Gyan is not as famous as he should be and feels that his impact within the national team deserves praise.
