Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi wants to be rebadured about playing time next season before agreeing to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

The 18-year-old is currently suffering from an Achilles tendon injury that has shattered Bayern Munich's hopes of signing him this summer.

The Bundesliga giants were denied three offers in January and Hudson-Odoi made a transfer request to force its transfer to the Allianz Arena.

Hudson-Odoi's playing time has increased in the second half of the season, but the winger is entering the final year of his contract in West London and Chelsea is eager to sign a new one.

The club offered Hudson – Odoi the # 10 jersey left vacant by Eden Hazard, a sign of his confidence in the English international but the striker wants bigger badurances.

According to Sun, the teenager only cares about playing time and wants to have the guarantee that he will be part of the first team team next season before signing a new contract.

Part of the delay is also due to the uncertain future of Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian was reluctant to kill Hudson-Odoi last season, but he should join Juventus in the coming weeks.

It would probably improve Chelsea's chances of keeping the winger past next season, but Hudson-Odoi will want to talk to the next Blues manager before making a final decision.
