Some of the largest events ever seen in the former British colony have attracted hundreds of thousands of people to the streets.
Protesters see the new law (which would authorize the shipment of suspected criminals to Mainland China) as a dangerous attempt to undermine the city's judicial independence.
But Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam has refused to reverse the bill.
