Ghanaian actor John Dumelo asked a team of Canadian security experts who helped rescue two Canadian aid workers kidnapped in the Ashanti region to stay and help rescue the three Ghanaian girls kidnapped in Takoradi in the western region.

Canadians kidnapped, Lauren Patricia Catherine Tilley, 19; and Bailey Jordan Chitly, 20 people kidnapped last week were released in the early hours of Wednesday, June 12, 2019 in Sawaba, Kumasi District.

Meanwhile, the location of the three Ghanaian girls kidnapped in Takoradi since last August is still unknown.

Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, age 18, was last seen on December 21, 2018; Priscilla Blessing Bentum, age 21, last seen on August 17, 2018; and Ruth Love Quayson, age 18, last seen on December 4, 2018.

Reacting to the announcement of the rescue of Canadians, Mr. Dumelo asked in a tweet to Canadian security experts to help Ghana rescue her daughters.

"Can Canadians who have come to save the kidnapped Canadian citizens stay for another week and help us find our missing Takoradi girls?" I will pay for accommodation, please, "said the award winning actor in a tweet.
