Clashes in Hong Kong erupted after protesters stormed the legislature

Hong Kong police forced thousands of protesters to leave the legislature building, using tear gas and pepper spray to clean the area.
The debate over the controversial extradition project has been delayed as activists prevent politicians from entering the building.
Executive Director Carrie Lam described the demonstrations as organized riots and called for restoring calm.
