Accra, June 12, GNA – Elections
Commission (EC) has postponed the registration of limited voters
will run from Monday, June 17 to Sunday, July 7.

A statement signed by Mrs Jean Mensa, from the EC
President and copy to the Ghana News Agency (Ghana News Agency) said
of an application for an interlocutory injunction to retain the Commission
to undertake the planned exercise.

"The registration will take place at
all district offices of the Commission and designated areas / electoral centers
all over the country, "he said.

He noted that the registration would start from
From 7 am to 6 pm every day, including weekends.

He said potential candidates were
therefore advisable to visit one of the registration centers with one of the
following documents as proof of eligibility.

A valid driver's license, a Ghanaian
pbadport, national identity card or an old non-biometric voter ID card
(This is for candidates who registered before the 2012 voter registration exercise).

"Candidates who do not possess any of the
documents above, can go to registration centers with two registered voters
act as guarantors for the purpose of registration ".
