GNA GM advises NABCO staff to build capacity

Wa, (UWR), June 12, GNA – Mr. Albert Kofi
Owusu, chief executive of Ghana News Agency (GNA), urged staff of
Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) deployed to the news agency to focus on the

Mr. Owusu was in Wa with the leader of the RNG

himself with new operations in the regions.

He said that the organization was facing
challenges, including financial constraints largely due to inaction, but
added that the new management was working diligently to overcome them.

Before interacting with the staff, Mr. Owusu
also paid a courtesy call on Dr. Hafiz, Upper West Regional Minister
Bin-Salih and then visited the regional director of education of the Upper West, Mr.
Duncan Nsoh to deepen relationships with their institutions.

Mr. Dasmani Laary, GNA Upper West Regional
Director, thanked the Director General for his visit to the region to familiarize himself with
working conditions in the region.

He expressed the hope that with GM's
insightful vision, the agency would be restructured and reorganized to work
more effectively to fulfill its mandate to strengthen the nation
construction, unity and development.

He prayed God's wisdom and God's energy for
Mr. Owusu to help realize his vision of repositioning the Agency in
production.

The GM has since left Wa for Tamale, the
Capital of the Northern Region and will visit the Upper East region, where he is
