How could the transfer business of Liverpool benefit from the move of Man United Daniel James

Liverpool's bitter rivals, Manchester United, have completed the signing of Daniel James, a native of Swansea City, in the amount of 18 million pounds. It is argued that this deal could be beneficial for Anfield's transfer transactions.

The 21-year-old Welsh international has become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first rookie at Old Trafford, but Goal.com says Liverpool is using the deal to badess the value of winger Ryan Kent.

The 22-year-old – who had been loaned last season to Steven Gerrard's Rangers – reportedly refused a potential loan to the Leeds United championship team and would rather try to impose himself in the first team. Jurgen Klopp team or leave the Reds in a permanent agreement.

Kent was loaned five times by Liverpool and had 125 first-team appearances in those periods, while James was transferred to United with just 43 senior selections.

This would have pushed Liverpool to seek about 12 million pounds sterling to sell Kent permanently, which would have inflated their transfer coffers to allow them to move this summer.

But with several Liverpool strikers on an international mission, Klopp is expected at least to give Klopp a chance in the pre-season friendlies of the new European champions.
