The two Canadian girls who were kidnapped in the Ashanti regional capital of Kumasi were rescued Wednesday by national security agents.

According to Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, eight suspects made up of five Ghanaians and three Nigerians were arrested as part of the kidnapping.

L & # 39; Hon. Kwame Acheampong, who was full of praise, said the security agencies were committed to ending the kidnapping kidnapping in the country, adding that the girls' rescue glorified the country as a whole.

However, he thinks that the search for Takoradi girls is long overdue and has also asked the police to improve his game.

The victims, Ruth Love Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Priscilla Koranchie, have been in captivity for several months.

Priscilla Blessing Bentum was abducted for the first time on August 17, 2018, while Ruthlove Quayeson was abducted on December 4, 2018.

Priscilla Mantebeah Koranchie was also kidnapped on December 21, 2018.
