Man Utd's three attacking targets revealed after Gareth Bale's forgiveness

Manchester United has decided not to intervene for Gareth Bale this summer.

United has long admired the Welsh star.

According to ESPN, club leaders have however rejected the opportunity to land the excluded Real Madrid before next season.

Bale, 30 years old next month, has no future in Santiago Bernabeu under Zinedine Zidane.

And having already spent nearly 300 million pounds this summer on Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Rodrygo, Eder Militao and Ferland Mendy, Madrid is desperate to sell the ex-Tottenham man.

They hoped that United could be tempted, especially with Madrid eager to recover the bulk of its £ 85 million Bale spending when it signed in 2013.

But faced with a change in transfer strategy and worries about the player's injuries and his astronomical salary, United said in Madrid that he did not want to discuss any deal at the moment.

Ed Woodward and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Executive Vice President, give priority to other targets, including attacks.

While Romelu Lukaku wants to travel to Inter Milan, Solskjaer desperately needs to complete his attack after hiring Swansea winger Daniel James on Wednesday.

James is United's new transfer strategy, favoring young talent rather than recruiting older, more expensive players.

United's recruiters have been regulars in France in recent months and Ligue 1 strikers Nicolas Pepe and Moussa Dembele are both on the club's radar.

Pepe, the Ivorian international, must leave Lille and has been watched by several major European clubs, including Bayern Munich. Mirror Football had already revealed United's interest in May.

With the left foot, he prefers to play on the right side, an area in which United is desperate to improve.

Dembele, the former Lyon striker, is considered a direct substitute for Lukaku, if the Belgian had to leave.

Ryan Fraser of Bournemouth is another option overseen by United, given the situation of his contract with Dean Court.

However, a decision for the Scottish international seems unlikely if one relies on James' signature and the presence of Anthony Martial, who, like Fraser, prefer to play from the left.
