Harry Redknapp, emotional, could not bear to think about the death of his wife Sandra

Harry Redknapp admitted that he could not bear to think about the death of his wife Sandra while she was fighting sepsis before her appearance I am a celebrity.

Harry, moved, revealed that he had "almost withdrawn" from the ITV TV show after his 52-year-old wife got sick from a medical condition. potentially life-threatening sepsis in 2018.

Addressing Piers Morgan for his Life Stories program on ITV, Harry said he'd almost turned his back on reality TV to be with her, but last-minute badurances were enough to see him climb into the plane to Australia.

Harry said, "I almost pulled myself in. I said, obviously, I will not go to Australia and do a show if it does not go well.

"It was scary.If she had not had an ambulance that night, she would have had desperate problems, so it was the savior, really."

Harry said, "I could not think of that … I could not.

"Thinking about it, I could not stand it, I just could not."

At age 72, he was crowned king of the jungle and the two men were reunited thereafter, while Sandra was allowed to fly to travel around the world.

Harry admitted that he "could not let her go".

He said, "I caught her and I did not want her to go to the end."
