Tens of thousands of protesters forced Hong Kong politicians to drop the debate on the controversial extradition bill in China.
Protesters surrounded the Legislative Council building and flooded downtown Wednesday. Organizers distributed masks and plastic film to protect protesters from the pepper spray as they were fighting against riot police who waved placards announcing that they were ready to use force for maintain stability.
