A young woman known as Abimbola Ayanwale Modinat, died after being allegedly stolen and pushed from a commercial bus in motion by suspected armed robbers to Idi-Iroko, Anthony Village neighborhood. , in the state of Lagos, Tuesday, June 11.

According to some information, Abimbola was returning home when she mounted without knowing it in a bus filled with criminals. During their journey, she was robbed, killed and pushed naked in front of a pizzeria in Idi-Iroko around 22:45 on Tuesday 11 June.

The incident was immediately reported to the village police station Anthony and his body was later evacuated by the police and dropped off at the morgue of Lagos State University (LASUTH).

A family member of the deceased, Adegoke Adekemi, who went to her Facebook page to mourn her, wrote;

Abimbola is a graduate of the Linguistics Department of Ekiti State University. One of his former clbadmates, Oladeji Oluwatosin, also went on his Facebook page to mourn his sudden disappearance. Oluwatosin wrote.

DSP Bala Elkana, spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed the incident by saying that the police commissioner had ordered a thorough investigation into the case. He added that no arrests have been made.
