Arsenal has received a boost in the pursuit of the services of Ajax, Hakim Ziyech, while the Moroccan international is keen to settle in North London.
According to the Dutch football expert, Marcel van der Kraan, who also advised Manchester United and Everton to act.
Ziyech has been a key part of Ajax who has won the Eredivisie title and has qualified for the semifinals of the Champions League. The 26-year-old athlete scored 21 goals and 18 badists in all competitions.
As Van der Kraan explained, it could spark more interest this summer at the African Cup of Nations.
"I know the player likes a club like Arsenal, which has always played well in football," he told Podcast, Sky Sports' Transfer Window podcast.
"Manchester City also plays under Pep Guardiola in a kind of Johan Cruyff-Ajax style football, just like Barcelona, but all these clubs will not be aligned for him.
"I think if Arsenal did not have Mesut Ozil, they would have been the perfect club for him, but now he has to choose between two Bundesliga clubs, two or three.
"In Serie A, the Roma have come back for him after facing last summer.There are also one or two clubs in Spain who want it.But he is not so enthusiastic and Ajax is now aware that the best deal what they could do this summer is to give it a new contract, rather than signing a new forward or midfield player. "
