Before the parliamentary elections in Benin, the Electoral Commission of that country had promulgated a new law that excluded all political parties, with the exception of President Talon, and caused great apathy, only a fraction of the population going to Benin. vote on polling day. .
This, Dr Agbesi, accused President Talon of violating the democratic rights of the people of Benin and called on ECOWAS not to recognize him as President of Benin.
He has also accused President Talon of alliance with terrorist groups in the subregion, which is why he does not want to withdraw.
In the meantime, Mr Agbesi called for the formation of a unity government comprising all political leaders, including those who went into political exile for fear of losing their lives.
